Hi, I’m Alejo

Growing up in Cuba, I was a dedicated swimmer and even competed for the national team for four years. However, the resources in my country were low. I knew that I wasn’t going to get far if I continued to swim. One day, I stumbled upon my brother's analog photography course and became intrigued by it. Starting with just a smart phone, I studied photography on Youtube. Eventually, I received a digital camera from my uncle Oscar and started offering personal photoshoots to friends, which led to working with the biggest urban artists in Cuba. However, I had a bigger dream of pursuing photography in the United States. At the age of 20, I convinced my family to move to Miami alone and worked hard to establish myself. After just a few months, I was able to bring my family to the states and start pursuing my dream of becoming a photographer.

Let’s Work.

If you're here, you're probably someone who appreciates the art and beauty of capturing moments. As a film photographer myself, I understand the importance of creating meaningful and timeless images.

I would love the opportunity to sit down with you and discuss your vision for a project. Whether it's a personal project or a professional assignment, I'm here to listen and help you bring your ideas to life. We can discuss the different film formats, cameras, and techniques that will best suit your project and bring out the essence of your subject matter.

My goal is not just to create stunning photographs, it is to create art. When you work with me, you can expect a collaborative and personalized approach that values your unique perspective and creative input.

So, let's grab a cup of coffee and chat about your upcoming project. I look forward to hearing from you and working together to create something truly special.
